The Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation has awarded superior college level teaching across the state of Texas since 1958. Each year, ten awards are given to professors from Texas' public and private, two and four-year institutions.
Select institutions submit mid-fall nominations for review by the Foundation. The Foundation, then, makes final Piper Professor Program award selections in late spring.
