Quick Guides for Faculty Users

F180 allows faculty to enter all of their professional activities into one system for review during their evaluations. Quick guides have been developed for users' reference in order for them to maximize their user experience:

Interfolio F180/RPT Office Hours

Interfolio F180/RPT (review, promotion and tenure) Office Hours are held monthly. Each session covers both F180 and RPT and takes place on the second Wednesday of every month from 10:00-10:30 a.m. These informal sessions are designed to help faculty, administrators, and support staff with questions or issues related to F180 or RPT.

Registration is required to attend these sessions. Please share the registration link within your units/departments for individuals to sign up for Faculty Affairs assistance with F180 and RPT.  After registering, individuals will receive a confirmation email from Zoom with the meeting link.

General F180 FAQs

What Are the Benefits of Using Interfolio F180 for Faculty Evaluation Processes?

After a faculty member's initial profile creation, F180 minimizes the amount of time faculty spend on the evaluation process.

Initially, faculty have more information to input and errors in other systems – like Compass – are being corrected as faculty see missing or incorrect information. Going forward, the annual update process will be minimized, and faculty can use their F180 vitas in evaluations, funding applications to NIH and NSF and during the promotion and tenure process.

Why Are the Data Feeds into Interfolio F180 Not Perfect?

As much information as possible is being pulled into Interfolio F180 from university sources to reduce the burden of manual data entry. However, this information is only as accurate as the information in the other university systems.

If there are errors, faculty can correct the original sources or make edits within the Interfolio F180 platform (these are located in the "Information" link on each activity area).
