Provided by the Office of the Provost, AMPLIFI is based on the Academic Analytics' Faculty Insight platform and will be the new hub for faculty data designed to streamline and elevate the faculty evaluation and advancement experience.
The Implementation Plan - Overview
Texas A&M is modernizing the faculty evaluation, annual review, promotion and tenure processes through a faculty-informed implementation of AMPLIFI.
Beginning in August, the build and transition has been led by a Steering Committee and a Working Group guided by faculty leadership, Faculty Affairs, IT and administrative users to ensure the system reflects Texas A&M’s processes, policies and academic culture. AMPLIFI is based on Academic Analytics' Faculty Insight platform. It will replace Interfolio’s Promotion and Tenure and Faculty 180 modules.
The new platform is intended to reduce duplication, improve data quality and consistency, support annual evaluation and promotion and tenure workflows, and provide clearer support for faculty, departments and colleges.
While faculty hiring will remain in Interfolio, AMPLIFI will support promotion and tenure (beginning January 2027) and annual faculty evaluation processes (beginning in September 2027).
The implementation will include phased planning and communications, college-level engagement, training, user testing and feedback opportunities before broad adoption.
We are committed to transparency about what is changing, what is not changing, what adaptations have been made, and where faculty and administrative input can still shape implementation.

Create customizable faculty profiles and reports that reflect disciplinary differences and individual accomplishments. Profile Builder allows faculty to organize and present their work in formats tailored to academic advancement, professional development and other career needs.
