Faculty Advisory Council

A university's foundation is its faculty. On Aug. 29, 2025, The Texas A&M University System Board of Regents authorized the creation of a new Faculty Advisory Council (FAC) under System Policy 12.04. The FAC will serve in an advisory capacity to the president on matters directly related to the academic programs of the institution.

Mental Health Resources for Faculty

The health and well-being of our faculty is a priority for Faculty Affairs, the administrative and academic units on the Texas A&M campus and the local community. Direct access to available resources is critical to ensuring that faculty receive timely support as needed. In the case of an emergency, call 9-1-1. Familiarize yourself with the non-emergency campus and community-sponsored mental, physical and emotional support systems available to you.

Step 2: Select “Activate my Membership” and complete the registration form using your institutional email address (i.e. netid@tamu.edu or netid@tamhsc.edu).
Step 3: Go to your institution email to find a confirmation email. Click “Activate Account” in the confirmation email.
