Robyn Blackmon

Robyn E. Blackmon is director of communications for the Faculty Affairs at Texas A&M University, where she provides strategic counsel to academic leadership and leads executive, internal and institutional communications to faculty in support of the university’s academic mission. 

She brings more than three decades of experience in higher education communications, marketing and organizational leadership, including senior roles with The Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President, Texas A&M’s College of Arts & Sciences, College of Geosciences and Association of Former Students, as well as Rice University. Her expertise includes executive communications, institutional strategy, reputation and brand management, digital engagement, advancement communications and organizational change. Blackmon earned her bachelor’s degree from Baylor University and is pursuing a Ph.D. in communication part time.
