Health and Wellness Resources for Faculty

The health and well-being of our faculty is a priority for Faculty Affairs, the administrative and academic units on the Texas A&M campus and the local community. Direct access to available resources is critical to ensuring that faculty receive timely support as needed. In the case of an emergency, call 9-1-1. Non-emergency campus and community-sponsored mental, physical and emotional support systems and resources are listed below.

When My Student Needs Help

Texas A&M University Health Services only services Texas A&M students but provides specific resources for those concerned about a student.

BlueCross/BlueShield of Texas (TAMU System Benefits)

MyEvive (“My Benefits” available via Single Sign On (SSO))

MDLive (available via “My Health Benefits” within MyEvive)

Crisis services at Texas A&M University are constantly evolving to meet the specific needs of our faculty, staff and students. In the event of any emergency, call 9-1-1. However, Texas A&M or the local community may provide assistance in other times of need. The university encourages faculty members to utilize the Employee Assistance Program (EAP). As support services are enhanced and expanded, the Faculty Affairs website will be updated accordingly.
